This is a pigmented ink. Pigmented inks have superfine solid particles that are suspended in the liquid ink. The helps create a solid colour and provide water resistant and proofing. Leaving a pigmented ink to dry on your pen nib and feed can causes isses with these dried particles clogging your pen so a good cleaning regime is required when using them.
