Delta We Smorfia Fountain Pen - Palladium Trim - Medium
The Delta We Smorfia are coveted by pen collectors for their combination of classic, trendy, luxurious, and lucky. According to Goethe, "Superstition is the poetry of life," and the Delta We (What Else) Collection embraces this philosophy. The We Smorfia was created to bring you good luck and ward off evil. Inside each pen's clip, a "corno-pepperoncino," cornicello, corno, or Italian horn, is hidden. A traditional symbol of good fortune also believed to ward off evil, the cornicello is a traditional ancient amulet in Italy. The belief behind the cornicello's symbolism originated in Naples and spread throughout Italy, and is now known in many Western cultures. So, adding a Delta We Smorfia to your pen collection might be the most fortuitous thing you do this year.
To reveal the Delta We Smorfia's cornicello, simply hold the colorful embellishment at the top of the pen's clip and "unscrew" it. To reinsert it, carefully place the cornicello inside the pen clip's hidden alcove, and screw it back into the pen clip.
The Delta We Smorfia fountain pen features smooth flowing stainless steel nibs that let your thoughts flow freely. The steel nib fountain pen utilizes standard international cartridges or ink converter (included) for easy, on-the-go filling.
Each writing instrument is presented in a luxurious gift box, making it an ideal choice for gifting to someone special or as a well-deserved treat for yourself. With its timeless design and exceptional writing performance, the Delta We Smorfia Ballpoint remains a favorite among pen enthusiasts and collectors alike, reminding us to vivi la dolce vita!
All Delta are covered by an International Lifetime warranty covering faulty parts and workmanship.
DELTA SINCE 1982
In 1982 a new innovative Italian writing instruments factory was established by the co-ownership and management of Nino Marino, named Delta.
From the beginning Delta has chosen only the highest product standards to enter into the very demanding and competitive international consumer market. Delta has chosen to control every aspect of the pen manufacturing process in its southern Italian facility under the watchful eyes of its skilled artisans. Over the last years, Delta has finely tuned its processes raising the quality of the final product to near perfection.
Then, in 2017, production at Delta stopped, and Nino Marino, a dynamic figure in the pen industry, within a year founded Maiora Pen Company, which continued the artistic and technical vision of innovative writing instruments and vintage-inspired bodies with Italian flair.
The Maiora Pen Company of Naples, Italy has acquired Delta Pen Company in 2022. It has been the culmination of a glorious return...the long-awaited return of Delta has happened through the course of the celebratory year of the 40 years since Delta’s foundation.
As collectors and pen enthusiasts become more demanding and appreciative of handmade products, Delta will continue to offer writing instruments made with great attention to detail by its very skilled artisans using techniques and know-how passed down through generations.
