The Sakae TP Iroful Softcover Notebook features lightweight papers with special coatings on both sides that provide a silky smooth writing for fountain pens. Iroful paper is manufactured by the same Japanese paper manufacturer of Tomoe River FP Papers. It is resistant to bleeding through and feathering while handles sheening, shading and shimmer inks very well, giving ink a more higher contrast look
and produces crisp and sharp lines.

“Iro” is the Japanese word for “color,” which renders a playful meaning of “colorful” to express the delicate shades and the beautiful sheens of colors.
