Sakura Pigma Micron pens are both acid-free and archival, giving the artworks created with them with lasting quality. These pens are ideal for any application requiring precision and permanence, such as papercrafts, journals, illustration, crafts. Even though the thinnest paper Pigma ink will not feather or bleed. Pigma ink is derived from a single pigment to ensure colour consistency and is fadeproof against sunlight or UV light. Pigma inks will not clog or dry out like most mechanical pens. Please note that Sakura Pigma Micron pens are not refillable.

Note: Due to the fineness of its tip, this pen must be used with a light touch. Applying too much pressure may bend and damage the tip.

About Pigma Micron

Pigma ink, invented by Sakura over 30 years ago, continues to be the most reliable permanent ink on the market today. Artists, consumers, the government, and scientists consider Pigma Micron® a necessary basic tool for any archival-quality, handwritten project.

This permanent, fade-resistant, chemically stable, pigment-based ink will not bleed or run if liquids are spilled on or applied to the document after the ink has dried. Perfect for legal situations, Pigma ink is nearly impossible to alter on documents, in logbooks, or on checks. Architects, archivists, anthropologists, entomologists and laboratories depend on Pigma Micron for record-keeping.

Manga artists, professional illustrators and watercolourists use the range of point sizes to create precision lines. Scrapbookers and crafters value its archival quality for preserving memories in journals and notebooks. Use Pigma Micron to leave a mark that will last a lifetime.

Sakura

Sakura Japan is a stationery company with a history of groundbreaking and revolutionary design.

The company started as a crayons manufacturer in 1921. By 1924, Sakura invented the first-ever oil pastel that combined oil and pigment, which was patented globally as the "Cray-pas (????)" trademark.

In 1982, the firm launched its famous Pigma marker pen lines. In 1984, Sakura invented the first gel-based ink, featured in its new ballpoint pens lines. Gel ink pens have gone on to be a staple stationery line overtaking the standard ballpoint pens in popularity.
