Lamy Safari Ink Cartridge Rollerball Pen - Transparent
Since its introduction in the 1980s, the LAMY safari fountain pen has been a beloved bestseller with cult status. The LAMY safari roll-ink complements the series with an innovative cartridge rollerball pen that writes with fountain pen ink: instead of a rollerball refill, it uses the familiar LAMY T 10 ink cartridge in blue, which is also used in fountain pens.
The LAMY safari roll-ink combines the ease of use of a rollerball pen with the smooth writing feel of a fountain pen and the advantages of fountain pen ink – including the ability to erase blue ink. Ink cartridge rollerball pen made of transparent CPA plastic with a high-quality metal clip and ergonomic grip for a comfortable writing experience. Comes with a blue LAMY T10 ink cartridge.
Note: Use only with the Lamy T10 blue (erasable) ink cartridges. Not suitable for use with converters. Use of non-recommended inks may clog the pen and is not covered under warranty.
The LAMY safari roll-ink is designed exclusively for the blue Lamy T10 cartridge.
Whilst other ink colours may fit mechanically, they cannot reliably meet Lamy's high quality standards because these pigmented inks contain solid particles that can settle in the very fine ink channels of the LAMY safari roll-ink.
Lamy standard blue ink is completely water-soluble, ensuring a smooth flow and reliable writing performance.
We therefore strongly recommend using only the original Lamy T10 blue cartridge in this model.
LAMY QUALITY
Highest quality in technology, processing and material is self-evident in Lamy pens. Lamy pens make a clear statement: ‘best value for money’.
LAMY DESIGN
Lamy Pens are self-contained and succinct. By tradition they embody the Bauhaus principle of functional design: ‘form follows function’. This approach makes Lamy pens unmistakable style icons and the name Lamy a quintessential brand.
LAMY: MADE IN GERMANY
Lamy pens embody the best German design tradition and engineering art. They stand out by virtue of innovation, reliability, restraint and status which does not relate to luxury but to intelligence.
Pens from Lamy can be seen on the New York Stock Exchange, at conferences in Tokyo, or in the lecture halls of Buenos Aires. And each of these pens first saw the light of day in Heidelberg, the city with Germany’s oldest university.
Here, just a few minutes by car from the world-famous ensemble of castle, old town and the River Neckar, Lamy develops and produces fountain pens, ink rollerballs, ballpoint pens and propelling pencils which have been amongst the most popular examples of modern design since 1966.
And, despite increasing globalisation, nothing will change this in future. Because Lamy is firmly rooted in its Heidelberg location. An employer of around 400 people from the city and its surrounding area, a patron of culture and a sponsor. But also a family firm which knows precisely that it draws part of its strength and authenticity from a vibrant region which for centuries has stood for science, research and cosmopolitanism
