The SCHMIDT® Safety Ceramic Roller (RollingBall) refill provides an easy and smooth gliding experience on paper. That's why pen makers around the world rely on these liquid ink refills. The 888 refill has a stainless steel tip and a ceramic ball with a unique ventilation system that prevents the ink from drying out and extends its life. These refills are specially designed for use with retractable, fully capless stationery.

The 888 SCHMIDT® liquid ink refill is made of plastic tubing, making it an affordable replacement for the Schmidt 5888 model (same size but with a steel barrel). The color of the ink is displayed on the end cap of the lead so that it can be easily identified when switching colors.
