Diamine 160th Anniversary Inks
The Diamine 160th Anniversary Ink celebrates the 160th anniversary of the Diamine brand. The ink bottle contain 75ml of Diamine fountain pen ink and this 160th anniversary collection is limited to 6 colours.
This range is inspired by Diamine rich history in the ink manufacturing world with a focus on the Tariff Street purpose-built factory. Situated near the Canal (vital for trade) and on the corner of Athol Street, this building was a hot spot for import and export from it’s opening in 1925. Diamine wanted to capture the atmosphere of the time, the hustle and bustle of the docks (Port of Call) and the vintage vibes from the Rosewood tables to the Wax Seals.
For the packaging, Diamine have decided to stray away from our usual black design following current market trends. The design was created by the amazing Inkymole for Diamine.
Diamine Inks
Diamine have been making ink since 1864 and are one of the last remaining manufacturers in the UK. In 1925 the company created a state-of-the-art production facility in Liverpool, and despite several changes of ownership, they have remained in the same area ever since. Throughout, the Diamine trade mark and the traditional production methods have survived and now in the 21st century their fountain pen ink remains the first choice of many pen connoisseurs.
Diamine ink is a water-based ink perfect for any brand of fountain pen. It is completely non-toxic and offers probably the widest range of quality fountain pen ink colours in the world - in both traditional and contemporary shades.
By adding a secret ingredient to de-stress the surface, Diamine achieves vibrant colour with free flow that glides on the paper surface, and which will not clog your pen.
