2ml sample of Diamine Green Edition Deck The Halls fountain pen ink, in a labelled plastic vial.

Ink Samples are a great way to try out new inks without investing in the expense of a full bottle. 2mls is normally good enough to fill a converter 1-2 times giving ample examples of how the ink writes.

1 x 2ml Vial.

Originally launched as part of the 2022 Diamine InkVent calendar, The Diamine Deck The Halls fountain pen ink is now part of the regular Diamine Green Edition collection. This purple chameleon ink has added shimmer.

Chameleon ink is a type of shimmer ink. The shimmer effect is much brighter than standard, and when the ink is applied to the page, it changes color depending on the angle of the light. This ink works best with a broad nib on high-quality paper for maximum shine.

Diamine Inks

Diamine has been making ink since 1864 and is one of the last remaining manufacturers in the UK. In 1925 the company created a state-of-the-art production facility in Liverpool, and despite several changes of ownership, they have remained in the same area ever since. Throughout, the Diamine trademark and the traditional production methods have survived and now in the 21st century, their fountain pen ink remains the first choice of many pen connoisseurs.

Diamine ink is a water-based ink perfect for any brand of a fountain pen. It is completely non-toxic and offers probably the widest range of quality fountain pen ink colours in the world - in both traditional and contemporary shades.

By adding a secret ingredient to de-stress the surface, Diamine achieves vibrant colour with a free flow that glides on the paper surface, and which will not clog your pen.
