Houston, we have a new series: our new LUNAR SPORT takes a giant leap into our Kaweco standard range, shining in two additional stunning hues: While our Shadow Blue, with its deep and vibrant colour, is reminiscent of mysterious nebula forming in the depth of space, Light Blue captivates with its more subtle and softer qualities like forget-me-nots in full bloom.

They are both imbued with a fascinating colour-changing iridescent effect, making the blue and purple hues dance around the fountain pen depending on where the light meets it. This not only leaves room for impressive contrasts, but also makes you see the Lunar series in a new light at every glance.

A play of light and shadow

The series’ two new colour variants embody a literal play of light and shadow. The dark base colour of our Shadow Blue lets the colour effects pop, while one can see a more subtle display with Light Blue. Opposites that enhance each other.

The light ABS material makes the pen feel almost weightless, making it effortless to write for long durations. Of course the Lunar is still as robust as all our famous Sport models despite this.  

Shining companion

Our pocket-sized Kaweco Lunar Sport fountain pen, weighing just 10.5 g, only measures 10.5 cm when closed. With the cap attached, it extends to a more standard size of 13 cm. For a more personal touch, the fountain pen is equipped with your desired nib size, ranging from extra fine (EF) to extra broad (BB). For beginners, we recommend nib size M. All nibs are produced in Germany.

To complete the look, the pen is placed within Kaweco standard black paperbox and comes with a short international blue cartridge to get you started. Optional Pen Clip sold separately.

Please note: Kaweco cartridge/converter fountain pens include an ink cartridge stored inside the pen from the factory. Make sure to remove it before installing your own cartridge or converter.
