Noodler's V-Mail Rabaul Red Ink

Noodler's Vmail Rabaul Red is a beautiful muted red ink that flows consistently and smoothly. It is similiar to a light dried blood colour and is one of the few red inks available anywhere that is partiallly waterproof. When washed under water is loses some of the yellow tones and turns a darker red colour.

This ink is part of Noodler's "V-Mail" line of inks reverse-engineered from a collection of World War II-era inks. These vintage inks featured extremely patriotic labels and references to V-mail (short for "victory mail")—a term dating back to World War I, that includes encouraging letters sent to and from soldiers on the front lines. This ink's label art features silhouettes of Army Air Corp and Royal Air Force planes.

This ink is partially water proof ink.
